TAKE A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE
Come and discover the history of one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks. You are invited to experience a very special Heritage Tour to celebrate the rich legacy and long-standing prestige of The Blackpool Tower.
A symbol of the region and one of the most well-known attractions in the country, The Blackpool Tower has stood tall over the Fylde Coast for 129 years.
On May 14th 1894 The Blackpool Tower opened to the world to much fanfare. Dubbed the ‘Wonderland of the World’, it was the passionate campaign of Sir John Bickerstaffe, a former Mayor of Blackpool who was inspired by The Eiffel Tower and became a key player in the Blackpool Tower project.
These limited intimate tours allow you to embark on a historical journey of discovery of the renowned Victorian building, including the Ballroom, Circus, and more!
Our guides will give you an insight into how this stunning Grade I listed building was created and the incredible stories it has witnessed. From the magnificence of the Ballroom to the sheer splendour of the Circus. Our guides will take you behind the scenes, reveal hidden secrets and tell forgotten tales as you embark on your Blackpool Tower Heritage Tour.
Tours take place on most Saturdays and Sundays at 10am (see available dates in ‘book now’ for full schedule).
Tour tickets are £9.95.
Following the tour, ticket holders have the option to add all day access to the Ballroom with 50% off admission.
